BREAKING NEWS!!!!

The Gangsters' Ball is back for 2013

After SOLD OUT shows in Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane, the Gangsters’ Ball returns for its 6th year, touring the east coast of Australia once again this September.

Performers for 2013 Announced!

This year's shows promise to be the best yet with a stellar line-up of Australian and International performers.

This year’s headline acts include MC Chanteuse Madame Leila Leontine, world renowned New York based Broadville Troupe the ‘Pretty Things Peepshow’, Award winning Acrobatic Troupe ‘Acrobatica’, Master of Illusion Adam Mada and Juggler extraordinaire Jeremy Ansley, with each capital city playing host to a variety of other wild, wicked and amazingly talented entertainers. Check out the performers page for the full line-up.

So what exactly is the Gangsters’ Ball?

Well for starters it is not a sit-down theatre show. It is a faithful recreation of a 1930’s Speakeasy Club, so you can walk around the entire venue, dance, gamble, get your hair & makeup done at the styling parlour, have your portrait taken at the photo booth, grab a cocktail or two and mingle with your friends. We encourage attendees to partake in every aspect of the show and experience all the fun and mayhem of 1930’s & 40's entertainment and culture.

Each year nearly than 4,000 Mobsters, Molls and Flappers step back in time to a bygone era. An era when men wore three-piece suits, fedora hats and silk ties, women wore feathers, furs and pill box hats, big bands ruled the airwaves and gangsters ruled the streets.

The Gangsters’ Ball is 5hrs of interactive and non-stop entertainment where the audience is as much a part of the show as the performers. Featuring the biggest names in Cabaret, Sideshow Vaudeville, Burlesque, Magic, Illusion and Big Band Swing, it is an event like no other and one not to be missed.

Every show also features one of Australia’s best Swing Bands, Swing/Rock 'n' Roll DJ’s, The Gambling Den - with Poker, Roulette and Black Jack tables, Swing and Rock 'n' Roll dancing contests, Pin-up models, merchandise stalls, cocktail bar, vintage styling parlour, photo booth and fantastic prizes for the best dancers and lucky door!

Check out the extras page for full details.
